Are you an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a career in accounting?
Funded by SOS Inventory, LLC., the Soar to Success Accounting Scholarship is an annual scholarship awarded to qualified students who demonstrate good grades, leadership, and a commitment to excellence.
This award is available for U.S. undergraduate students who are residents of: Wayne, Cabell, Mercer, Mingo, McDowell, Raleigh, Fayette, Summers, Greenbrier, Boone, Nicholas, Kanawha, Putnam, and Wyoming counties in West Virginia and demonstrate outstanding community service. Students must be pursuing education or training in the field of business or related fields, have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and an ACT score of 20 or higher, and attend a college or university in West Virginia.
Incoming sophomore, juniors, or seniors attending a California college or university who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher are eligible for this award. Students must be of 50% or more Asian heritage and major in accounting, political science, public policy, business administration or related fields.
This scholarship is open to current and incoming graduate students at Kansas colleges/universities who have a concentration in accounting. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of undergraduate academic performance; potential for success in graduate studies; leadership; and participation in community, charitable, university, governmental and/or other civic activities.
This scholarship is open to college juniors who attend a Kansas independent college or university and are majoring in accounting. Qualified students must demonstrate academic success in their accounting curriculum; the student’s grades in English, rhetoric subjects, business, and economics courses will also be considered.
This scholarship is open to college juniors who are enrolled as accounting majors in a Kansas college or university. Qualified nominees must demonstrate academic success in the accounting, economics, and business curriculums. Additional emphasis is placed upon the nominee’s overall grades.
This scholarship is open to accounting students who have completed at least 120 college credit hours and are enrolled in an institution of higher learning in order to satisfy the 150-hour requirement of the Connecticut State Board of Accountancy. Students must reside or be employed/have an offer of employment in Connecticut, and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
