Number of Awards & Eligibility: 20 awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior.
  4. Must be a resident of New Hampshire.
  5. Preference will be given to students with a grade point average of 3.25 or higher.
  6. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate substantial volunteer or community service.
  7. Preference will be given to students interested in a business, hospitality, or food-service industry career.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: New Hampshire high school seniors who demonstrate academic achievement and financial need will be considered for this award. Students who meet any/all of the following criteria are given preference for funding: interest in pursuing a career in business, hospitality or food service industries; a grade point average of 3.25 or higher; substantial volunteer or community service.

Additional Information: New Hampshire's Dunkin' Donuts franchises are committed to supporting the educational aspirations of their customers. They created a scholarship program to honor local students who embody its mission to help those that serve others. Scholarship applications will be reviewed and evaluated by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. Recipients will be chosen based on merit and financial need. Other merit factors that will be evaluated include involvement in school activities and paid work experience. Current Dunkin' Donuts employees are eligible for awards. Awards will be announced by the end of April. Recipients and their parents will be invited by Dunkin' Donuts to attend a special event to honor their achievements in May or June.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.

The application deadline date has not yet been finalized for this year, but is expected to remain the same as last year. The deadline date shown here is tentative based on last year's date. Please check back in January for a refreshed application deadline date. Applications are available online on the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation (NHCF) website. The student should apply for this award using the NHCF online application. The student need only submit one online application for all scholarships for which he/she is eligible. The student must upload the following supporting documents to the online application: an essay of approximately 500 words describing his/her education and career goals; an electronic copy of the confirmation page of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid); the names and email addresses for two persons who can write letters of recommendation on his/her behalf; and an electronic copy of his/her most recent cumulative transcript (unofficial accepted). For this award only, the student is also required to provide information on financial aid packages from schools he/she is considering attending. Applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. ET on the deadline date.
