Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be a high school senior or older to apply for this undergraduate or graduate award.
  3. Must be a member of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL).
  4. Must reside in Georgia. If there is no qualified applicant from Georgia, students residing in the ARRL Southeastern Division (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands) will be considered.
  5. Must study engineering or computer science. If no qualified applicant studying in these fields applies, the award will be given regardless of the field of study.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to international and U.S. students who are members of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) and reside in Georgia (or the ARRL Southeastern Division, if no qualified candidates from Georgia apply). Students must study engineering or computer science; if no qualified applicants studying those fields apply, applicants from all fields of study will be considered.

Additional Information: Preference for the North Fulton Amateur Radio League Scholarship will be given to students who are majoring in engineering or computer science, as well as students who reside in Georgia. Recipients are typically notified by mid-May by USPS mail and email.

Award Amount: $900 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $900.

Applications are available on the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) Foundation website. Applications must be completed online. Students need only submit one application for all scholarships for which they are eligible. The student must provide contact information for one educational reference, one character reference, and one social reference on the online application. The student must also submit a copy of his/her academic transcript from his/her most recently completed school year to the email address provided. The transcript must be scanned and submitted as a PDF.
