Students must be the child or grandchild, including stepchild or legally adopted child, of an active member, Retirees Department member, or deceased member of the American Postal Workers Union.
This award is available for college sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are enrolled in a curriculum leading to a bachelor’s of science degree in animal science, meat science, food science or a related discipline at an accredited four-year college or university. Students must maintain a grade point average of 2.75 or higher and remain in good academic standing during the term of the scholarship.
The TigerChef.com Culinary and Hospitality Scholarship Program is available for U.S. and Canadian students who are currently enrolled in a culinary or hospitality program. Applicants must submit an original essay of between 500 and 600 words describing what inspired them to pursue this career.
This award is for U.S. high school seniors and college freshmen who are employees of Subway or the dependents of Subway employees. The applicant must enroll full time and demonstrate academic merit.
This award is available for culinary arts students attending Florida State College at Jacksonville. Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.25 or higher.
Since 1993, Cancer for College has provided hope and inspiration to cancer survivors in the form of college scholarships. Applicants must be business majors or related fields with desires to pursue careers in the food service industry, and possibly owning and operating a restaurant.
This scholarship is available for North Carolina high school seniors who are 4-H members with an outstanding record in foods and nutrition. Students must plan to attend an institution of higher education in North Carolina.
This scholarship is available for Texas high school seniors or currently enrolled college students who are enrolled in a restaurant/food service program and/or hospitality program. Students must have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher (3.5 or higher in the major) and one or more years of work experience in the foodservice industry.
