Number of Awards & Eligibility: One or two awards offered annually. Either one award will be awarded to a recipient at a four-year institution, or two awards will be awarded to recipients at two-year institutions.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be a graduating high school senior or older to apply for this undergraduate award.
  3. Must possess an active technician class amateur radio license or higher license.
  4. Must reside in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, or Connecticut.
  5. Must be studying computer science, TV/radio electronics, or electrical engineering.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. and international students who have an active technician cass amateur radio license or higher are eligible for this award. Students must be living in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, or Connecticut, and be majoring in computer science, TV/radio electronics, or electrical engineering.

Additional Information: Recipients are typically notified by mid-May by USPS mail and email.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually for four-year recipients or $500 annually for two-year recipients. Awards are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
