U.S. students who will begin their final year (i.e., fourth or fifth year) of undergraduate study in the fall are eligible for this award. Students must be studying mechanical engineering. ASME Scholarships are awarded annually to eligible ASME Student Members. There are up to two recipients of $3,000 each.

The award recipient will be selected on the basis of scholastic ability, character, integrity, leadership, and potential contribution to the mechanical engineering profession.
This scholarship is available for U.S. and international students who are rising juniors and seniors studying mechanical engineering. Students must have an interest in industries using and/or manufacturing pressure vessels or related components.
This scholarship is open to U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who are members of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE).
