This award is available for U.S. high school students who plan to graduate from a Florida high school that they have attended for at least one semester. Students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, and a minimum test score on the SAT (600 math, 500 verbal) or the ACT (26 math, 21 English). Students must also enroll in an engineering program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
