In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S.citizen.
  3. Must plan on attending a college/university in the state of Illinois.
  4. Must be a graduating high school senior or older to apply for this undergraduate award.
  5. Must be pursuing an education in the fields of business, law, or finance.
  6. Must be a legal resident of the state of Illinois.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The Illinois Real Estate Foundation offers a $1,000 Dick Wiegers Scholarship Fund to an eligible Illinois resident pursuing a college degree in the field of Business, Law, Finance or a graduate program in Business.

Application requirements for the Richard D. Wiegers Scholarship for Undergraduate Students are:

  • Recommendation letter
  • Application form
  • Personal statement
  • Official Transcript
Additional Information: The Dick Wiegers Scholarship Fund was created to make it possible for Illinois residents to pursue a college or university education in the field of Business, Law, Finance, or a graduate program in Business.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.This scholarship may be used for expenses including tuition, room and board, texts and other materials.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
