  1. Must be an undergraduate or graduate student at the time of application.
  2. Must be majoring in and planning to pursue a career in law.
  3. This award is for U.S. and international students studying in the U.S.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Description: The Power of Resilience Scholarship is available for undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in and planning to pursue a career in law. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and must submit an essay about overcoming adversity.

Additional Information: The Power of Resilience Scholarship is sponsored by the Law Offices of Scott Glovsky for the purpose of assisting future lawyers who have personal experience with overcoming adversity. Award selection will be based on a combination of academic and professional achievement, as well as the quality of the submitted essay. Judges will specifically seek essay submissions that demonstrate resilience and a high capacity for professional success in the field of law.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications instructions and additional information about the The Power of Resilience Scholarship is available online at the provider website and may be accessed using the provided links. To submit an application for this scholarship program, students must write an essay of approximately 1,000 words in length detailing a time when the student was faced with a serious life challenge and how the challenge was overcome.
