Additional Information: The Busey-McMicken Agricultural Scholarship is provided annually in memory of two great friends, George W. Busey and Kenneth B. McMicken. Both men worked as managers at Goodyear Farms and they understood that the future of Arizona's economy would rely increasingly on agriculture and access to local sources of food. In honor of this legacy, awards are provided to graduating high school seniors at Agua Fria Union High School and Tolleson Union High School. The Arizona Community Foundation provides scholarships for high school seniors and current college students throughout Arizona. Selection for awards is based primarily on academic records, financial need (as demonstrated by the FAFSA paperwork), and the quality of other submission items such as essays and recommendation letters.

Award Amount: $700 annually, non-renewable. Previous recipients are eligible to re-apply and may receive priority for future awards.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $700.
