Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a permanent resident of Kansas or Missouri.
  4. Must be enrolled in an ABET-accredited program at a Kansas or Missouri college/university.
  5. Must be pursuing an engineering degree.
  6. Must be a college junior.
  7. Must be enrolled full time.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is for college juniors who are permanent residents of Kansas or Missouri and pursuing an engineering degree at an accredited Kansas or Missouri college/university.

Additional Information: The following criteria will be used as the basis for selecting a scholarship winner: grade point average, teacher recommendations, activities, work experience, honors/scholarships/awards, and the essay.

Award Amount: $2,500, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,500.

Students must submit the application, as well as the following materials: two letters of recommendation from faculty members, an essay (500 words or less) describing their career goals and aspirations, a resume detailing any honors/awards/extracurricular activities/internships, and an official transcript. All materials must be sent together by email or postmarked to the address provided by the deadline date.
