In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be enrolled in a course of study leading to a degree in nuclear science, nuclear engineering or a nuclear-related field.
  4. Must be a full-time student.
  5. Must be a college sophomore or older in the upcoming academic year.
  6. Must be a student member of the American Nuclear Society (ANS).

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for U.S. college sophomores, juniors, and seniors who are enrolled in a course of study leading to a degree in nuclear science, nuclear engineering or a nuclear-related field.

Additional Information: The named scholarships included under this program are the following: the Angelo S. Bisesti Scholarship, the Joseph R. Dietrich Scholarship; the Raymond DiSalvo Scholarship; the Charles (Tommy) Thomas Memorial Scholarship (formerly the Environmental Sciences Division Scholarship); the Robert G. Lacy Scholarship; the John R. Lamarsh Scholarship; the Robert T. (Bob) Liner Scholarship; the Decommissioning, Decontamination and Reutilization Scholarship; the William R. and Mila Kimel Scholarship; the Accelerator Applications Division Scholarship; the Pittsburgh Local Section Scholarship; ANS Washington, DC Section Undergraduate Scholarship; Operations and Power Division Scholarship; and the James R. Vogt Radiochemistry Scholarship (available to an undergraduate or graduate student).

Award Amount: $2,000 - $2,500 scholarships (expected for undergraduate and two-year programs)  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
