Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado

Number of Awards & Eligibility: Four awards.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a Colorado resident.
  2. Must be a graduating high school senior or a graduate student or non-traditional student.
  3. Must be pursuing a degree program with an environmental, natural resource, climate, or outdoor industry emphasis at an accredited 4-year college/university, 2-year community college, or a certificate program.
  4. Must attend school in Colorado.

Description: Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado (VOC) is the state's oldest outdoor stewardship nonprofit organization. Since 1984, we have been motivating and enabling people to become active stewards of Colorado's natural resources.

Application requirements for the Grossman Scholarship are:

Additional Information: Applicants must write two short essays, submit transcripts from their highest completed level of education, test scores (high school seniors only), and two professional letters of recommendation. Applicants will need to fill out and submit the appropriate web form for the scholarship on our website: https://www.voc.org/grossman-scholarship.

Award Amount: $5,000  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $20,000.
