Number of Awards & Eligibility: Four awards.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be enrolled full time.
  2. Must be majoring in a field of science or engineering, including life sciences or science education.
  3. Must have a 3.5 GPA or higher.
  4. Must be US citizens or lawful Permanent Residents.
  5. This award is for U.S students.
  6. Must be a undergraduate.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: USRA's mission is to advance the space- and aeronautics-related sciences exploration through innovative research, technology, and education programs; promote space and aeronautics policy; and develop and operate premier facilities and programs by involving universities, governments, and the private sector for the benefit of humanity.

Application requirements for the USRA Distinguished Undergraduate Awards are:

  • No application requirements for this scholarship
Additional Information: Up to four undergraduate scholarship awards are available in amounts up to $5,000 each year. Awards are for one year only. All scholarship awards will be paid directly to the recipients. Previous winners are not eligible.

Award Amount: Up to $20,000 scholarships offered.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $20,000.
