Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship is awarded.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must identify as a female/woman.
  2. Must be a soon-to-be or current undergraduate student.
  3. Must major in a STEM field.

Description: Avomeen recognizes the incredible contributions women make in STEM fields every day and is offering a scholarship to help fund their education.

Application requirements for the Women in STEM are:

  • Personal statement
  • Application form
Additional Information: Applicants who identify as a woman, who are majoring in STEM fields, who are currently or will be an undergraduate student next year at a US-based university. A written statement (200 words or less) on why the applicant has chosen to pursue a degree in STEM. For the Women in STEM scholarship, the applicant should include information about organizations they’ve been a part of and/or what they’re done in their community to support and promote female leadership.

Award Amount: A $2,500 scholarship is given to the winner.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,500.
