Students must also have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Priority will be given to those individuals residing or attending school in the states of Ohio or Arizona. (A resident is defined as having lived in the specific area for a minimum of one year.)
This award is available for U.S. undergraduate students who are 18 years of age or older and are pursuing management career in welding store operations or a welding distributorship. Students must be employed (at least 10 hours a week) at a welding distributorship at the time of application.
This award is available for U.S. college juniors who are 18 years of age or older and are pursuing a career in welding engineering. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher and attend Ohio State University.
This award is for U.S. college juniors who are 18 years of age or older and are pursuing a career in welding engineering technology, or welding engineering. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Students must be enrolled full time. Priority is given to students attending Ferris State University.

Students, attending school or living in Alabama, Georgia or Florida, pursuing careers in welding engineering or welding engineering technology. An overall minimum GPA of 2.8 or a minimum GPA of 3.0 in all engineering courses is required.
