In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a legal resident of the United States.
  3. Must be 16 to 19 years of age and currently enrolled at any accredited educational institution or program of higher learning.

Description: This scholarship is open to U.S. students who are 16 to 19 years of age and are planning to enroll or are enrolled in an institution of higher education. Students must submit an essay related to a Branson (MO) show; students may research if they have not seen a show in person.

Application requirements for the Branson Shows Inspired Scholarship are:

Additional Information: High school students and homeschooled students who plan to enroll in college upon graduation are strongly encouraged to apply. Essay applicants are judged on creative voice, originality, and overall influence. All essays must be Branson show related for consideration. The recipient will be selected and notified on or before Nov. 15. No person affiliated with BransonShowTickets.com may submit an entry.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Application information is available online on the Branson Show Tickets website. To apply, each student must write an essay of 500 to 2,000 words describing how a Branson (MO) show inspired him/her to realize his/her dreams. If the student has not seen a Branson show in person, he/she may research and use his/her creativity to write the essay. Essays should be submitted typed in Times New Roman Font with a font size of 12. The student must include his/her full name, valid email address, telephone number, and mailing address in the upper right-hand corner of the essay. Essays must be submitted online or mailed to the address provided and be received by the deadline date.
