Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship will be provided each year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must attend a high school in Chelan or Douglas Counties, or Wenatchee Valley College.
  2. Must be a graduating high school senior or community college student.
  3. Must be majoring in physics or mechanical, electrical, or software engineering.

Description: The Ferguson Family Scholarship is available for graduating high school seniors in Chelan or Douglas Counties, as well as current students at Wenatchee Valley College. All applicants must be majoring in or planning to major in physics or mechanical, electrical, or software engineering.

Additional Information: The Ferguson Family Scholarship was designed to assist local area students in Chelan and Douglas Counties who are planning to pursue a higher education in one of the following fields: physics or mechanical, electrical, or software engineering. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors or current students at Wenatchee Valley College. Awards are administered through the Community Foundation of North Central Washington, a charitable organization providing assistance to individuals in Chelan, Douglas and Okanogan Counties of Washington. Scholarship selection is based primarily on academic achievements with secondary consideration given to unmet financial need. Selected recipients are notified in early May and will be provided with additional instructions and documentation requests.

Award Amount: $10000  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $10,000.
