Description: The Thiel Fellowship gives $100,000 to be spread out over two years to young people who want to build new things instead of sitting in a classroom. You can apply to the Fellowship while in school but if selected, you’ll need to drop out to accept the Fellowship.The foundation does not take equity in your company.

Award Amount: 20 to 30 Fellows receive $100,000, spread out over two years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $100,000.
