Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually depending on the availability of funds.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must plan to attend Hellenic College/Holy Cross Seminary.
  3. Must be a full-time student.
  4. Must be a high school senior at time of application.
  5. Must be of Greek descent OR be a member, or the son/daughter of a member, of AHEPA, the Daughters of Penelope, the Sons of Pericles, or the Maids of Athena.
  6. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is for high school seniors who are members of (or the sons/daughters of members of) AHEPA, the Daughters of Penelope, the Sons of Pericles, or the Maids of Athena, OR of Greek heritage. Students must plan to attend Hellenic College and Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology.

Application requirements for the AHEPA Hellenic College / Holy Cross Seminary Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • SAT/ACT scores
  • photo
  • Recommendation letters (2)
Additional Information: At least one award under this program will be provided in honor of Carlos T. Touris Scholarship. Preference will be given to students attending Hellenic College. Please note: Students may only apply for one scholarship as an undergraduate student and one as a graduate student. Special consideration will be given to students applying for scholarships based on financial need. For all applications, consideration will also be given for AHEPA affiliation, extracurricular activities, community service and Greek Orthodox Church youth activities.

Award Amount: Awards range from $500 to $2,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,000.
