Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must have an identified learning disability. Please note: ADD/ADHD alone is not considered a learning disability; eligible candidates with ADD/ADHD must also provide documentation of a specific learning disability.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  5. Must be a high school senior at time of application.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The mission of the NCLD is to improve the lives of the 1?in 5?children and adults nationwide with learning and attention issues. This award is for high school seniors with a documented learning disability who have maintained a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and intend to enroll in a bachelor's degree program.

Application requirements for the Anne Ford Scholarship are:

Additional Information: The Anne Ford Scholarship is given to a high school senior with an identified learning disability who is pursuing an undergraduate degree. Financial need will be strongly considered. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply. The scholar must be willing to mentor future scholars and act as a role model for people with a learning disability through such activities as public speaking, writing for publications, and other opportunities made possible through NCLD. *Please note: Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD/ADHD) alone is not considered a learning disability; eligible candidates with ADD/ADHD must also provide documentation of a specific learning disability.

Award Amount: $10,000 paid in four yearly installments of $2,500 each.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $10,000.
