Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  4. Must be a current college sophomore or junior to apply for this junior and/or senior year award.
  5. Must attend Calvin College in Michigan.
  6. Must have been adopted, have a special interest in adoption, or be interested in working in the field of adoptions.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. students entering their junior or senior year at Calvin College are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and be adopted, have a special interest in adoption, or an interest in working in the field of adoption.

Application requirements for the Calvin College Richard and Janice Van Deelen Scholarship are:

Additional Information: Basic criteria: entering junior or senior year cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher have been adopted, have a special interest in adoption, or are interested in working with children and be committed to the pro-life position on the issue of abortion financial need is considered

Award Amount: $2,000 annually.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.
