Number of Awards & Eligibility: Nine awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a college freshman or older to apply for this undergraduate award.
  2. This award is for U.S. students.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  4. Must have graduated from a high school and have a permanent residence in one of the following counties in the greater Cleveland area: Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Summit and Ashtabula.
  5. Must be female.
  6. Must be an initiated member in good standing of a National Panhellenic Conference fraternity that is in good standing with the Cleveland Alumnae Panhellenic Association

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is for U.S. female students, who are college freshmen or older, and are members of a sorority that is in good standing with the National Panhellenic Council and CAPA. Applicants must have graduated from a high school in the Greater Cleveland area and have a permanent residence in the same Greater Cleveland area which includes the counties of Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Summit and Ashtabula.

Additional Information: Chartered in 1914, the Cleveland Alumnae Panhellenic Association (CAPA) has been promoting "Greek Life" in the northeastern Ohio area. A major focus of CAPA during these past 91 years has been raising money for scholarships and grants. Applicants for this grant must be good standing with the Cleveland Alumnae Panhellenic Association. Applicants must also demonstrate financial need.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, non-renewable  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $18,000.

Applications are available online on the Cleveland Alumnae Panhellenic Association website. In addition to the completed application, the student must submit two sealed letters of recommendation from the individuals listed on the application and a sealed university transcript to the address provided. *Please note: Applicants must have a grade point average sufficient to maintain good standing within her sorority and must also demonstrate on-going involvement in her sorority. The application and all supporting materials must be submitted online by the deadline date.
