The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta

Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior who has been accepted to an accredited college, university, or technical school.
  4. Must be a resident of Oconee County, Georgia.
  5. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  6. Preference will be given to applicants from families involved in the Free Masonry tradition.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to high school seniors who are residents of Oconee County, GA, and have financial need. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Preference will be given to applicants from families involved in the Free Masonry tradition.

Application requirements for the Everett Williams Scholarship Fund are:

  • Application form
  • Transcript
  • Recommendation letters (2)
  • FAFSA
Additional Information: Students must demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award. Scholarships are awarded on a nondiscriminatory basis after careful review of eligible applications. Award recommendations are approved by The Community Foundation's Board of Directors, and scholarship awards are paid directly to the educational institutions where the successful candidates are enrolled.

Award Amount: Up to $1,500 annually, renewable for three additional years. Renewal students must maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and submit the current year's renewal form.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,000.
