Number of Awards & Eligibility: One or more scholarships will be provided each year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must currently attend or be a previous graduate of a high school in Okanogan, Ferry, or Lincoln counties.
  2. Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited veterinary or pre-veterinary program.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior or current veterinary school student.

Description: The Gerald E. Robinson Memorial Scholarship is available for current or previous graduates of a Okanogan, Ferry, or Lincoln County High School who are majoring in veterinary science.

Additional Information: The Gerald E. Robinson Memorial Scholarship provides veterinary scholarships for students who are current or previous graduates of a high school in Okanogan, Ferry, or Lincoln counties in Washington State. The scholarship is awarded in memory of Gerald E. "Jerry" Robinson to recognize his life long love of dogs and other animals. Scholarships are available for veterinary and pre-veterinary students who demonstrate a history and commitment to caring for and helping animals.

Award Amount: $6,500 annually. Renewal is not guaranteed, but previous recipients are eligible to re-apply in future years. Funds will be deposited with the veterinary or pre-veterinary school of the recipient's choice.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $6,500.
