American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) Institute for Oral Health

Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
  3. Must be majoring in dental hygiene or a related field.
  4. Must be a professional or student member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA).
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  6. Must be pursuing a master's degree. The student must already hold a bachelor's degree and an active dental hygiene license.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. students who possess a dental hygiene license as well as a bachelor's degree and are pursuing a graduate degree in dental hygiene (or a related field) are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and be professional or student members of the ADHA.

Application requirements for the Irene Woodall Graduate Scholarship are:

Additional Information: For all non-merit-based awards (i.e., those without the word "merit" in the name of the award), the student must have a financial need of $1,500 or more and must electronically sign the application attesting to such need. Scholarships are awarded based on how well the applicant demonstrates the goal or achievement of the scholarship for which he/she applies. Recipients are announced on July 1.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
