Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually according to the number of eligible students.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a South Carolina resident for a minimum of one year and qualify for in-state tuition rates.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  4. Must be admitted to one of the 16 System technical colleges in South Carolina.
  5. Must be a high school senior or older.
  6. Must enroll in at least six credit hours per each term.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for South Carolina undergraduate students who are currently attending a South Carolina technical college. Students must demonstrate financial need to be eligible.

Additional Information: The SC Lottery Tuition Assistance Program was established in 2001 under the SC Educational Lottery Act and implemented for the first time during 2002-03 academic year. It was created to provide a supplemental resource to South Carolina residents two-year public or independent institutions.

Award Amount: Award amounts vary. Students should contact his/her institution for addtional details.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,087.
