Number of Awards & Eligibility: All eligible students will be considered.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be an incoming freshman or transfer student.
  2. Must plan to attend the University of St. Francis in Indiana.
  3. Must enroll full time.
  4. This award is for U.S. students.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  6. Must attend a college or university in Indiana.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available to U.S. students who are planning to attend the University of St. Francis. Students must demonstrate financial need to be eligible.

Application requirements for the University of St. Francis Affordability Grant are:

  • Admissions application
  • FAFSA by 4/15/2020
Additional Information: The USF Affordability Grant is awarded to full-time students who demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA. Receipt of additional federal, state, or institutional funds may adjust/replace the University of Saint Francis Grant.

Award Amount: Award amounts vary and are limited to the cost of tuition and fees minus federal and state grants received. Students will be notified of the amount of their award. Awards are renewable for up to three additional years provided the student maintains full-time enrollment and satisfactory academic progress and continue to demonstrate financial need.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

To apply for this scholarship, the student must complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The FAFSA is available online on www.fafsa.ed.gov, at high school guidance offices, and at college financial aid offices. Students must be sure to file the FAFSA so that it is received by the central processing system by the April 15 priority deadline. Students who submit the FAFSA after the March 10 priority deadline may jeopardize their eligibility for this grant. Students must also have been accepted to the University of St. Francis to be eligible for this award. Admissions information is available online at admissions.sf.edu/apply/. Admissions applications are accepted throughout the year.
