In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must reside in and attend school in Wichita Falls, Texas.
  2. Must be a member of 4H or the Future Farmers of America.
  3. Must be a high school student at the time of application.

Description: The Wichita County Jr. Livestock Association Scholarship is available for 4H and FFA members in Wichita Falls, Texas. Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

Additional Information: This scholarship is provided annually through the Wichita County Jr. Livestock Association and is administered by the Wichita Falls Community Foundation. Awards are designed to recognize local area high school students who are active and involved 4H and FFA members. Applicants must participate in two consecutive Supervised Agricultural Experiences and must attend the Wichita County Livestock Show Sale to accept the scholarship award and check. Award selection will consider a combination of 4H and FFA involvement, performance on the Supervised Agricultural Experiences, demonstrated interest in pursuing an agricultural career, financial need, and academic achievement. One winner will be selected and notified shortly following the application deadline.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
