In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a United States resident.
  2. Must be a pediatric cancer survivor or be in active treatment.
  3. Must be pursuing post-secondary education.

Description: The Children’s Cancer Cause College Scholars Program is a $2,000 scholarship usable at trade school, community college, or certificate programs that also helps students gain cancer advocacy experience.

Additional Information: Survivors receive a financial scholarship to help with academic expenses and gain valuable cancer advocacy experience. Each member of our College Scholars Program completes a project of their choosing related to childhood cancer advocacy, with support and mentorship from the Children's Cancer Cause team. General Eligibility Requirements include: College Scholars Program includes a requirement* of completing a childhood cancer advocacy project of the scholar’s choice. Projects could be as extensive as a summer internship in our DC office to something more local, like organizing an awareness event in your hometown or mobilizing other students at your school in a letter-writing campaign to lawmakers.

Award Amount: Up to $2,000 scholarships offered  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $4,000.
