Additional Information: Do you have passion, commitment, and willingness to learn? Icahn Automotive and its Pep Boys, AAMCO, Precision Tune and RPM Automotive brands want to help you succeed in automotive service. We’re looking to reward skilled individuals committed to becoming service experts. And we want to make your education journey a little easier. We’re offering twelve $2500 scholarships to qualified students who want to succeed in this growing field. We invite you to apply for one of these twelve scholarships—and take an important step to accelerate your career. Applicants must: At the time of application be (i) enrolled full-time at a US high school; or (ii) accepted or currently enrolled, either full-time or part-time, at an accredited college, university or trade school within the US. Trade school should be the equivalent of a two-year associate program. Be in pursuit of an automotive technician degree or certification (or equivalent degree/certification). Maintain a minimum 3.0 grade point average. Be a legal resident of the United States, in the United States on a student visa, or a resident alien. Submit your most recent transcripts of all academic work Submit a completed application form Submit two (2) letters of recommendation from non-family members Submit a typed essay (no more than four pages in length, double spaced – 1000 words maximum) OR a video (no more than two minutes in length) describing “Why I want to be a top technician.”

Award Amount: $2,500 scholarships are awarded.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,500.
