Number of Awards & Eligibility: Seven awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident to apply.
  3. Must be a high school senior, current undergraduate or graduate student, or plan to enroll this fall.
  4. Must plan to enroll full-time.
  5. Must be under a physician's care for a spinal cord injury, spina bifida, transverse myelitis, or neurogenic bladder.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: The 180 Medical Scholarship Program is for students under a physician’s care for spinal cord injury, spina bifida, transverse myelitis, neurogenic bladder, or ostomy (ileostomy, colostomy, or urostomy). This opportunity is offered to legal U.S. Citizens seeking a two-year, four-year, or graduate school program full-time in the fall.

Application requirements for the 180 Medical Scholarships are:

  • Essay
  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • Medical documentation
  • College acceptance letter
  • Video optional
Additional Information: Additional Information: To be considered for the Caregiver Scholarship, students must submit a completed application, most recent transcript, typed essay or video, and a document confirming acceptance or continuation of enrollment.

Award Amount: $1,000 per award offered.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $7,000.
