  2. Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  4. This award is for U.S. students.

Description: The #ArriveAliveTX Distracted Driving Scholarship is available for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Additional Information: Patterson Law Group is seeking motivated and passionate students to create a realistic distracted driving awareness campaign to reduce the number of accidents in the state of Texas and to make our roads safer for Texas families. Judges will look for essays that creatively and persuasively address the target audience about the dangers that distractions can cause.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications and additional information about this award can be found online at the Patterson Personal Injury Lawyers website. To be considered for this scholarship, students must complete the official application form and include the following: an unofficial copy of transcipts indicating grade point average; and a submission of the student's chosen media format that addresses the topic. All applications and supporting documents must be submitted by email to scholarship@pattersonpersonalinjury.com no later than the deadline date. Questions about the scholarship contest should be directed to scholarships@getonboardwithsafety.com. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.
