Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two scholarships will be awarded.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a resident of the US.
  2. Be at least 16 years old.
  3. Must be a student at a tuition based secondary college or university.

Application requirements for the $1,000 Refermate 2020 Scholarship are:

  • Essay
Additional Information: Founders of Refermate often struggled while paying back their students loans, it wasn’t very hard to decide the best way to give back to the community was through a scholarship program. Since 2019, Refermate has decided to award a $1,000 scholarship to a student each year. Students must upload a Youtube video and write a 500 minimum word essay. Details can be found on the provider website.

Award Amount: $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.
