Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually. In prior years, four scholarships were awarded.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must attend Columbia College of Missouri.
  4. Must be a degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate student who has completed 24 or more credit hours.
  5. Must be enrolled full time.
  6. Must have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher.
  7. Must attend a college or university in Missouri.

Description: This scholarship is open to Columbia College of Missouri undergraduate students who have completed 24 or more credit hours at Columbia. Students must have a grade point average of 2.75 or higher.

Application requirements for the Columbia College of Missouri CCAA Scholars Program are:

  • Personal statement
Additional Information: All applicants will be notified of the selection committee's decision by April 10. The award is for the 2018-2019 (August 2018-June 2019) academic year and will go towards room/tuition/books.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually. Students must reapply each academic year to renew.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications are available on the Columbia College of Missouri website. As part of the online application, the student must submit a personal statement of 100 words or less describing what his/her time at Columbia College has meant to him/her and/or how he/she feels that Columbia College has benefited him/her. Applications must be submitted online no later than 5:00 p.m. CST on the deadline date.
