Number of Awards & Eligibility: Five awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be a member of Kappa Epsilon.
  3. Must be studying pharmacy.
  4. Must have completed the equivalent of six semesters of undergraduate education with at least two of these semesters in an accredited college of pharmacy.

Description: This award is available to members of Kappa Epsilon who have completed the equivalent of six semesters of undergraduate education with at least two of these semesters in an accredited college of pharmacy.

Application requirements for the Zada M. Cooper Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • Official Transcript
  • Recommendation letters (2)
Additional Information: If a student is selected as a recipient of the Zada M. Cooper Scholarship, he/she will need to submit a brief description of his/her accomplishments and three photographs suitable for publication in "The Bond" and for display in the KE Booth at APhA and ASHP. Photographs must be sent to the executive office immediately upon notification.

Award Amount: $750 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,750.

Applications and information about Kappa Epsilon's Zada M. Cooper Scholarship are available at the provided links. Students may only access the application form through the member's only section of the Kappa Epsilon website. In addition to a typed copy of the application form, the applicant must submit the following items: an official copy of his/her complete undergraduate and pharmacy transcripts, sent directly from the registrar's office; and two reference forms, one completed by the KE chapter adviser and one completed by another faculty member familiar with him/er. All materials must be received no later than the deadline date to be considered.
