Number of Awards & Eligibility: 10 awards offered annually. The following scholarships will be awarded: CREW Network Foundation Scholarships (4); CREW Network Foundation/Jane Ayers Wooley Memorial Scholarships (2); CREW Network Foundation/Goldie B. Wolfe Miller Women Leaders in Real Estate Initiative Scholarships (2); CREW Network Foundation/Prudential Real Estate Investors Scholarships (2).
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen.
  3. Must be a female.
  4. Must be of junior or senior standing or a graduate student in the upcoming academic year.
  5. Must be a full-time student.
  6. Must be enrolled in an accredited real estate program or at an accredited university with a focus of study that is included in CREW Network's qualified fields of real estate (www.crewnetwork.org/content.aspx?id=288). The student must intend to pursue a career in commercial real estate.
  7. Must have maintained a grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for female U.S. and Canadian students who will be college juniors or seniors in the following academic year and plan to pursue a career in commercial real estate. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and must enroll full time.

Additional Information: The selection shall be based on merit and consideration shall be given to the following factors: academic record; commitment to a career within the commercial real estate industry; extracurricular activities; history of employment; personal and professional references; practical experience in the field (internship or job); noteworthy accomplishments (can be related to studies, community service, etc.); and written statement about career goals. Winning scholars are notified by phone in June. Scholarship recipients must complete a paid internship at CBRE (www.cbre.com) the summer following the academic year for which the scholarship grant was awarded. In addition, scholarship recipients will participate in the CREW Network eMentoring program during the 12 months following the grant of the scholarship. Scholarship recipients are strongly encouraged to connect with a CREW Network chapter and attend at least two meetings during the academic year for which the scholarship grant was awarded. Scholarship recipients are also strongly encouraged to attend the CREW Network Convention & Marketplace; registration is complimentary for convention immediately following the grant of the scholarship.

Award Amount: $5,000 annually, non-renewable. Scholarship awards may only be used for tuition and book expenses. Scholarship awards may be revoked at any time if a recipient's academic work falls below the acceptable standards established by this award, or the student drops below full-time status.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.

Applications are available online on the CREW Network Foundation website. *Please note: Applications are accepted starting in January.The student must complete the application online and then print a summary page showing her answers. As part of the online application, the student must answer two essay questions in 5,000 characters or less.In addition to the application, each student must submit the following materials: official copies of all collegiate grade records, certified by the registrar or other qualified college official; and two letters of recommendation from professors or employers. At least one of the letters must be from a professor in the applicable accredited real estate program or, if attending a university lacking an accredited real estate program, from a professor in the related field of study. The letters must be in envelopes marked "confidential," and the reference must sign the envelope over the seal.The student must submit the printed copy of her online application and all additional materials by mail to the address provided. Application packets must be received by 5:00 p.m. CT on the deadline date.
