  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a graduate student at the time of application.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  4. Must be majoring in labor & employee relations, or a related field.

Additional Information: The NPELRA Foundation is a nonprofit subsidiary of the National Public Employer Labor Relations Association (NPELRA). The Foundation provides scholarships to deserving graduate students who are studying labor and employee relations, or a closely related field. Selection of awards will be based on the essay responses, quality of recommendations, as well as leadership qualities and activities demonstrated by the applicant.

Award Amount: $3,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $3,000.

Applications and information about this award can be found at the National Public Employer Labor Relations Association website using the link provided.In addition to a typed and completed scholarship application form including all essay and short answer responses, students must also submit the following items: final transcripts of undergraduate study and/or transcripts for graduate courses completed; two letters of recommendation from faculty members who are familiar with the student's work; and a recent resume.All applications and supporting documents must be emailed to the provided email address and must be submitted no later than the deadline date.
