Number of Awards & Eligibility: varies.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be an undergraduate, graduate, law or PhD student.
  2. Must attend a Historically Black College or University (HBCU).
  3. Must be enrolled full time.
  4. Must study Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business/Marketing, Supply Chain Management or Finance.

Description: The Thurgood Marshall College Fund partners with Apple to provide eligible outstanding students who attend a Historically Black College or University with a $15K merit based scholarship and 12 week internship opportunity.

Application requirements for the Apple HBCU Scholars Program are:

  • No application requirements for this scholarship
Additional Information: Selected Scholars will receive a $15,000 merit-based scholarship and participate in a 12-week internship during the Summer of 2021. Each scholar will be assigned an Apple mentor throughout their experience, receive an opportunity to develop key skills, enhance their resumes and help launch their careers through the hands-on experience gained at one of the top tech companies in the world. Apple HBCU Scholars are expected to serve as Apple Ambassadors on their HBCU campuses during the academic year following their internship.

Award Amount: Scholarships for up to $15,000 offered.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $15,000.
