Number of Awards & Eligibility: Up to 25 awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a resident of one of the following counties: Kent or New Castle counties in Delaware; Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Mercer, or Salem counties in New Jersey; Berks, Bradford, Bucks, Chester, Clearfield, Delaware, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton or Philadelphia counties in Pennsylvania.
  4. Must be a graduating high school senior at time of application.
  5. Must plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in fall.
  6. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent).

Description: U.S. high school seniors who are residents of certain counties in Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania are eligible to apply for this award. Students must plan to enroll full time and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Additional Information: Full-time or part-time Dunkin' Donuts employees who meet the eligibility requirements are also encouraged to apply. Franchise owners and their dependents are not eligible. All applicants will be notified of their status via email in early May. Finalists will be required to review and submit additional information, including a transcript of grades, to Scholarship Management Services. Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, a statement of goals and aspirations and unusual personal or family circumstances. Financial need is not considered.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, non-renewable. Payment will be made in one installment on Aug. 15. Checks are mailed to each recipient's home address and made payable to the school.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.

Applications are available online from the Dunkin' Donuts Scholarship America website. An interested student can begin the electronic application process by clicking on the Register as an Applicant link in the Scholarship Links menu in the left margin. He/she must supply a unique and valid email address and create a password. As part of the completed application, each applicant must submit a list of his/her work experience, involvement in school and community activities and self-declared academic information (from his/her high school transcripts). Once the application is submitted, no further additions or changes can be made. The application must be submitted electronically by 11:59 pm EST on the deadline date. Applications found to be incomplete as of the application deadline will not be processed.
