Number of Awards & Eligibility: One or more scholarships will be provided each year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must attend a public college or university in Idaho, Washington State University, or Eastern Washington University.
  2. Must be a graduating high school senior at the time of application.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  4. Must attend Post Falls High School in Post Falls, Idaho.

Description: The Manuel and Gladys Schneidmiller Scholarship Fund is available for graduating seniors at Post Falls High School in Post Falls, Idaho. Applicants must have unmet financial need and must attend a public college or university in Idaho, Washington State University, or Eastern Washington University.

Additional Information: The Manuel and Gladys Schneidmiller Scholarship Fund is provided annually to graduates of Post Falls High School in Post Falls, Idaho. To be eligible, students must demonstrate a combination of academic merit and unmet financial need. Award selection will be based on a combination of financial need and participation in extracurricular activities.

Award Amount: Scholarships are provided in the amount of $1,000 per year. Awards may be renewed for up to three additional years so long as the student enrolls full time and maintains a grade point average of 2.5.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.

Applications for the Manuel and Gladys Schneidmiller Scholarship Fund can be found online at the Idaho Community Foundation website. Please note: The student may apply for all scholarships for which he/she is qualified; however, a separate application and supplemental materials must be submitted for each scholarship. In addition to a completed application, the student must submit the following materials: five one-page essays addressing the topics listed on the application; a copy of his/her most recent high school transcript, report card, or unofficial/uncertified college transcript; two letters of recommendation; and an additional short essay (one page or less) describing a challenge he/she has faced in his/her life and how he/she handled it. Applications must be emailed to the address provided by the deadline date.
