Number of Awards & Eligibility: Fifteen awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be currently enrolled in grades 10 - 12.
  3. Must be enrolled in a Michigan high school.

Description: High school students in grades 10 - 12 who are enrolled in a Michigan high school are eligible to enter this scholarship poster contest. Students must create and submit a poster with an automotive theme.

Application requirements for the NAIAS High School Poster Contest are:

Additional Information: All winning posters will be displayed at the NAIAS and reproduced in the official NAIAS program. Winning posters may also be displayed on the official NAIAS web site, at the sole discretion of the NAIAS. The contest is not open to DADA members, their families, or family members of the judges.

Award Amount: Prizes range from $100 to $1,000, based on the type of award. Students should visit the NAIAS website for more details on prizes. All awards are offered annually and are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,800.

Additional information on this poster contest is available on the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) website by clicking on the 'About' tab and clicking on the 'Poster Contest' link. There is no application form for this contest. Students enter by submitting up to two posters for consideration. Posters must have an automotive theme. Please note that any posters containing brand-specific vehicles will be ineligible. All subject matter must be in good taste. No shared work is allowed. Posters must contain all of the following copy: "North American International Auto Show 2020"; "Detroit"; and "Cobo Center". A credit line with the student's name will be allowed. Any mixed media suitable for reproduction as a poster is allowed, including computer-generated graphics. All posters must be two-dimensional, original art, and camera ready. Posters must be horizontal or vertical, mounted on matte board (or foam core, etc.), and measure approximately 18" x 24". The back of the poster must contain, in print, a legible copy of the following: student's name; student's telephone number; student's address; school name; school address; school phone number; student's grade level; teacher's name; and principal's name. Entries must be submitted to the address provided by 5 p.m. on the deadline date.
