In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
  3. Must be a high school, undergraduate, or graduate student.

Description: This award is for U.S. high school, undergraduate, and graduate students. Students must submit a short response about texting and driving and be selected as a semi-finalist to compete for the available scholarships. The purpose of this scholarship is to help you understand the risks of texting while driving.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

10 finalists based on the content of the 140-character message. The winner will be selected based on the content and creativity of the 500- to 1,000-word essay.
