Number of Awards & Eligibility: A limited number of awards are available.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must have a grade point average of 3.8 or higher.
  3. Must have an ACT score of 26 or higher.
  4. Must plan to attend the University of Tennessee at Martin.
  5. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  6. Must plan to enroll on a full-time basis.
  7. Must plan to attend a college or university in Tennessee.

Description: This award is available for U.S. students who are attending the University of Tennessee at Martin. Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.8 or higher, and an ACT score of 26 or higher.

Additional Information: During the freshman year, students selected for the Deans Scholarship will have the opportunity to participate in seminars and attend public lectures with distinguished campus visitors such as scholars, leaders, and artists.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, for four years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $40,000.

Applications for admission are available online from the University of Tennesee at Martin website. There is not a separate application for this award. A student will be considered upon admission. In addition to the completed application for admission, the student must submit a $30 application fee, ACT scores, and transcripts. To receive priority consideration for this award and all financial aid opportunities available at the University of Tennessee at Martin, it is recommended that students submit all admissions and financial aid applications prior to the deadline date.
