Number of Awards & Eligibility: One scholarship will be provided each year the program is available.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a graduating high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student at the time of application.
  2. Must attend Chicopee Comprehensive High School or be a previous graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School.

Description: The First Sergeant Kevin Dupont Memorial Scholarship Fund is available for graduating high school seniors at and previous graduates of Chicopee Comprehensive High School. Applicants should demonstrate leadership and/or a commitment to community service.

Additional Information: The First Sergeant Kevin Dupont Memorial Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to graduates and graduating seniors of Chicopee Comprehensive High School. Judges will give preference to applicants who are current high school seniors, as well as students who demonstrate a history of leadership and community service or involvement.

Award Amount: Scholarships are typically awarded in the amount of $1,000 and are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications for the First Sergeant Kevin Dupont Memorial Scholarship Fund are available and accepted between January 1 and March 31. To apply for this scholarship, students must complete the online application at the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts website. Completed application forms will also require students to submit a recent copy of transcripts as well as their current year Student Aid Report. The Student Aid report is obtained when the student completes the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). All applications must be submitted online no later than the deadline date.
