Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a high school senior at time of application.
  3. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  4. Must have verifiable community service.
  5. Must be a resident of Baltimore, Maryland.
  6. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  7. Must plan to attend a college/university in Maryland.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is for U.S. high school seniors in Baltimore Maryland who have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher and verifiable community service. Students must attend a college in MD.

Additional Information: Richard E. Dunne, III was a partner at Hogan and Harston. He dedicated his career to helping citizens of Baltimore. Among his many civic contributions, Dunne was an active volunteer for the CollegeBound Foundation. This scholarship honors him and enables Baltimore City Public School students to attend college. The applicant must be planning to attend a two-year or four-year college or university beginning with the fall semester.

Award Amount: $2,000 annually, renewable  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,000.

Information is available online at the CollegeBound Foundation website. Applications are only available online through the online portal. In addition to completing the CollegeBound Foundation Competitive Scholarship Application, the applicant must also submit the following: two letters of recommendation; a copy of his/her college acceptance letter(s); a typed essay addressing the topic listed on the application (if applicable); community service verification(s) (if applicable); and a copy of his/her recent high school transcript, including the first semester of the senior year. All application materials must be received by the deadline.
