Number of Awards & Eligibility: Up to 25 awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a current high school senior.
  4. Must attend a high school in one of the following counties: California - Kern, Los Angeles; Ohio - Butler, Clermont, Hamilton, Warren; Texas - Tom Green, Dallas, Denton, Collin.
  5. Must plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or university for the upcoming academic year.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is open to U.S. high school seniors who attend a high school in one of the following counties: California - Kern, Los Angeles; Ohio - Butler, Clermont, Hamilton, Warren; Texas - Tom Green, Dallas, Denton, Collin. Students must demonstrate financial need and plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study.

Additional Information: This scholarship program is administered by Scholarship Management Services®, a division of Scholarship America®. Scholarship Management Services is the nation's largest designer and manager of scholarship and tuition reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin. Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances, and an outside appraisal. Financial need as calculated by Scholarship Management Services must be demonstrated for the student to receive an award. Applicants will be notified by the end of April. Not all applicants to the program will be selected as recipients.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable. Scholarship Management Services processes scholarship payments on behalf of Account Control Technology Foundation. Payments are made in one installment on Aug. 1. Checks are mailed to each recipient's home address and are made payable to the school for the student.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

The application deadline date has not yet been finalized for this year, but is expected to remain the same as last year. The deadline date shown here is tentative based on last year's date. Please check back in mid March when applications become available.Applications are available online on the Account Control Technology (ACT) Foundation website.Two sections of the application must be completed by an appropriate school official.In addition to a completed application, each student must submit a current complete transcript of grades (must include grading scale).Applications must be mailed to the address provided and must be postmarked by the deadline date.
