In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior at the time of application.
  4. Must exemplify outstanding qualities in leadership, character and community service.

Additional Information: The Drake Davis Foundation, Inc. was formed to create an opportunity to raise awareness and prevention of suicide.

Award Amount: The amount of the award varies annually, based on the availability of funding.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications are available online from the Drake Davis Foundation, Inc. website.In addition to the completed application, the student must submit an official copy of his/her transcripts, one letter of recommendation from a school individual, an essay of no more than 500 words on the listed topic, and his/her college acceptance letter.Applications and supporting materials must be received by the deadline date.
