Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards varies depending on the number of qualified applicants.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a resident of South Carolina.
  2. Must be a high school senior at the time of application.
  3. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  4. Must be high school class valedictorian.
  5. Must plan to attend a college or university in South Carolina.
  6. This award is for U.S. students.
  7. Must attend Clemson University.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for high school seniors in South Carolina who are graduating as class valedictorian. Applicants must attend Clemson University.

Application requirements for the Clemson Scholars Award are:

  • FAFSA
  • Application form
Additional Information: A student may receive only one of the Trustee Scholarship, Clemson Scholars or Palmetto Pact.

Award Amount: $3,500 annually, renewable for up to three additional years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $10,500.
