Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually and is dependent on funding and the number of qualified applicants.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a current undergraduate student who has completed 28 or more transferrable credits OR less than 28 transferrable credits.
  4. Must plan to transfer to Condordia College of New York.
  5. Must be the member of a Lutheran church and be active in his/her congregation.

  • SAT/ACT scores (if under 28 credits)
Additional Information: An eligible applicant must be the member of a Lutheran church and be active in the congregation.

Award Amount: Up to $15,000, renewable for up to three years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $60,000.

Applications for admission are available online from the Concordia College of New York website. There is not a separate application for this award. The student will be automatically considered upon admission. In addition to the completed application, the student must submit a $50 application fee, the Supplemental Form available online, official college transcript, personal statement, and a letter of recommendation. If the applicant has completed less than 28 transferrable credits, he/she must submit high school transcripts and SAT/ACT scores. Applications and supporting materials must be submitted by the priority deadline for full scholarship consideration.
